Organizing services
Professional photo organizing services can be customized to your desire and/or needs. You can choose to work alongside the photo manager or have the photo manager complete the work alone. You can prepare the photos before the project begins or hand off the entire content of the boxes, bins or albums. Your photos will be returned in the original boxes or albums. You will have the option to have your photos returned in archival boxes for an additional fee. The photo manager will offer recommendations on best cloud storage providers, best practices for back ups and maintenance of your photo collection. This service is priced at $50 per hour.
*Minimum 2 hours for in-person organizing sessions.
scanning and Digitizing only
PRICE LIST
Loose photos up to, or first 500 photos = $100.00
Each 100 photos over 500 = $15.00
Photos that are sticky, documents, newspaper clippings = $1.00 per scan
*An inch of stacked photos typically equals around 100 photos
DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE
Photos (sizes 2x3 up to 8x10) will be digitized at 600 dpi resolution. Rotation and cropping are included in the pricing. Your photos will be delivered on a portable flash drive or downloaded to your cloud based Forever account (Forever storage is purchased separately).
*Minimum order of $100 for pick up and delivery (within a 15 mile radius). All prices are subject to sales tax. Payment is due prior to or at delivery. Delivery times may vary by the time of the year and the volume that needs to be scanned. Estimated delivery times will be given prior to pickup.
PREPARATION
While it isn't necessary for digitizing, I highly recommend organizing your photos ahead of time into small plastic zippered bags. You can label each bag with a piece of paper and tuck it inside the bag. Here are some ways to organize and group your photos: Date, Decade, Event, Person, Family, Vacation, Place, etc. By doing some organizing ahead of time, you will remove duplicates, blurry photos and photos that are repetitive. This process will also give you an idea of the amount of photos that you have. I will organize the finished digitized photos according to how they were given to me to scan.
DIY
